Get Involved

Azul Marine Group runs on the time and expertise of marine professionals and on the support of the agencies and communities it serves. Choose the path that fits you.

01 · Volunteer

Volunteer your expertise

Membership is built around professional marine disciplines. If you have experience in one or more of the following, the organization would like to hear from you:

  • Search and rescue
  • Diving
  • Salvage
  • Marine firefighting
  • Marine engineering
  • Licensed captain (please note your license type)

Members take part in agency-requested assistance, training and joint exercises, and stewardship work such as water quality testing and levee integrity inspections. Tell us about your background and availability using the form, and a member of the organization will follow up.

Not a marine professional? Support is still welcome. See Support our mission and Attend an event below.

Volunteer inquiry

Your information goes only to Azul Marine Group at info@azulmarinegroup.com and is used to follow up on your inquiry.

02 · Agencies and Organizations

Partner with us

Azul Marine Group works at the request of, and in coordination with, the public agencies responsible for the Delta's waterways. Agencies, fire and rescue departments, law enforcement marine units, emergency management offices, reclamation districts, and community organizations can:

  • Request assistance during a maritime emergency (for incidents in progress, call 911 first)
  • Coordinate training or plan a joint exercise
  • Request vessel support or expert advice for a planned operation
  • Collaborate on research, water quality testing, or levee integrity inspections

The organization's disciplines are listed on the Programs page. Contact us with a description of the need, the location, and the timeframe.
